UNC Generative AI Committee Charter
The Provost’s AI Committee is charged with working across organizations at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill to help lay the foundations for a successful AI implementation at UNC-Chapel Hill. The committee’s focus areas are:
- providing AI usage guidance,
- building the University’s AI Community,
- developing the Provost’s AI website,
- supporting the AI Acceleration Program,
- gathering metrics on AI usage at UNC-Chapel Hill
- other AI initiatives.
The committee has representatives from all the UNC-Chapel Hill academic units and several University functions. Mark McNeilly chairs the committee.
