5th for fed research funding
Ryan Fox, a graduate research assistant in the UNC Department of Applied Physical Sciences, works in one of the Murray Hall labs on February 12, 2018, in Chapel Hill. Fox is working with Professor Theo Dingemans to research new, high-performance polymer-graphene based nanocomposite materials that can withstand extreme temperatures, are very strong yet lightweight and can have multifunctional properties, such as electrical conductivity, supercapacitance, or damage-sensing capabilities.
