The Office of the Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost is pleased to announce the 2013 C. Felix Harvey Award to Advance Institutional Priorities.

The C. Felix Harvey Award to Advance Institutional Priorities seeks to recognize exemplary faculty scholarship that reflects the University’s commitment to innovation.  For 2013, the competition is again focused on innovative engagement and outreach.

The award will be given to the faculty member or members whose proposed project best applies humanities and/or social sciences methods or approaches that directly and positively impact constituencies outside the University. To provide broad consideration across the eligible disciplines, projects should focus on at least one of these themes: technology, economic development, arts and culture or improvement of K-12 public education.

The C. Felix Harvey Award to Advance Institutional Priorities will be $75,000. The deadline for submitting proposals is Friday, September 27, 2013
